**About the role**

We have an amazing new opportunity to become our Sample Scheduling Technical Lead as part of the Laboratory Informatics Team within our Laboratory and Sampling department. We see this role as essential to realising our National Leader ambitions and we’re looking for a motivated professional, with experience of working with SampleManager LIMS and specifically Water Management Module scheduling.

Reporting into the Laboratory Informatics Technical Manager, the individual will be Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the regulatory, operational and commercial sample programmes across the business including water and wastewater, OSM and UWW programme. Manage the consolidation of these processes and take technical lead of how the programme is implemented while working alongside the Sample Scheduling Co-ordinators. Key tasks of the role will include Investigate and evaluate new technology, specifically around the development, support, and maintenance of sample programmes, reviewing opportunities to streamline and automate the process.

**We’re looking for you to**:

- Have significant experience of a LIMS and specifically associated planning and scheduling modules.
- Understanding of Sampling and Analysis Regulations (DWI drinking water regs, MCERTS and Private Water Supply)
- Experience in implementing digital transformation projects as SME and key stakeholder while working with delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- In-depth knowledge of sampling processes and methods
- Engage in opportunities, maintain awareness and develop an understanding of industry best practice and new developments.
- You should have proven experience in planning and scheduling of water and wastewater sample programmes in accordance with all pertinent regulations**.**:

- Have great stakeholder management skills and be able to build up good working relationships with ease.
- Be able to provide timely and accurate data to meet reporting requirements as required as part of regular reporting or support any ad-hoc requests.
- Have experience in data transformation, manipulation and visualisation and be able to tailor findings to communicate to a varied audience.
