As a Laboratory Operations Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of housekeeping and laboratory stewardship while supporting the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art laboratory facility. Your responsibilities will include:

- Demonstrating excellent housekeeping and laboratory stewardship in accordance with GLP, maintaining our facility in pristine condition for training and demonstrations.
- Supporting laboratory operations by working under aseptic technique, ensuring sufficient reagent supply, and maintaining equipment safety, calibration, and readiness.
- Performing laboratory-based activities for training delivery of laboratory and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) processes, including media preparation, cell culture, and equipment calibration for assays such as flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, automated Western Blot, and automated ELISA.
- Providing administrative support for the day-to-day running of the laboratory, including communication with premises landlords and internal stakeholders.

Liaising with technology developers and suppliers to request quotes and gather relevant information for equipment maintenance.
- Assisting in laboratory setup and delivery of training courses, covering gowning, cleaning, equipment monitoring, and equipment-specific training.
- Adhering to company health and safety policies and complying with quality management system procedures for data capture.
- Updating control of substances hazardous to health assessments (COSHH) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Training:

- You will complete a Laboratory Technician Level 3 qualification through Hart Learning & Development
