Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role working in an Adults CMHT.

**Location**:Valley Garden Resource Centre**, **Harrogate.

**Pay Rate**:£34 - £36 per hour (assignment rate).

**Contract Type**:Locum, 6-month contract/ongoing block booking.

**Working Hours**:Primarily 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Part time is an option and flexibility around start and finish times is available.

**Main Duties**:

- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs, including risk assessments.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals.
- Providing evidence-based interventions and treatments to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care.
- Providing emotional support and counselling to patients, families, and carers.
- Delivering health promotion and education to patients and their families.
- Monitoring and evaluating patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.

**Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse**:

- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.
- NMC Registration.
- Strong assessment and care planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
