We’re looking for a Junior Designer and Videographer to join our Communications team in London. This is a new role, with the potential to make a significant impact on our vital work supporting children and young people’s mental health in schools.

Working collaboratively and closely with the Creative Manager, Head of Communications, and Director of Marketing & Communications, you will produce brand and videography requirements for the team and the wider charity.

You’ll be expected to use your creativity to interpret briefs and respond by creating high-quality, meaningful content for defined audiences and channels. You will be comfortable transforming research and data into eye catching and digestible end products. You will be adaptable, and solutions orientated in your approach.

We anticipate that the role will be based at our London head office, with some home working as an option.

**About You**

You will:

- Use your imaginative abilities to create visuals and graphics for Place2Be’s web, social media, and print publications.
- Keep the charity’s brand at the heart of your designs, supporting the Creative Manager to ensure consistency across all visual output.
- Produce engaging and professional video material showcasing the charity’s work
- Occasional travel may be required to record elements of our frontline support work in schools.
- A dedicated commitment to diversity and inclusion and equality of opportunity.

**You will also**:

- Have significant work experience in design. A design portfolio will be required to showcase design skills
- Have experience editing and captioning videos
- Have proven experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro
- Have experience using Canva
- Have experience using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
- Have excellent organisational skills and an ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Be able to deliver against deadlines and have a can-do attitude.
- Have a genuine passion for improving children’s mental health, and a commitment to our core values of perseverance, integrity, compassion and creativity

**About Us**

Place2Be is the leading children's mental health charity providing in-school support and expert professional development to improve the emotional wellbeing of children and young people, families, teachers and school staff. The charity currently provides an embedded mental health service in 500 UK primary and secondary schools supporting a school community of around 243,000 children and young people.

Our teams provide a range of services in our partner schools to build resilience early in life through counselling, creative work and play and support a child’s ability to engage in school life. Our work, focused on early intervention, is part of the comprehensive CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) system.

Through our professional development programme, we are training around 1,200 Counsellors on Placement each year who build their mental health and counselling skills and experience through practice in our partner schools.
