**We're looking for a Videographer Intern**

We are looking for a creative, professional and capable videographer to produce high quality film and motion graphics in-house. In addition to the technical skills needed, a passion for storytelling and creating compelling and engaging content will be essential.

Briefs will be hugely varied and you will have the opportunity to produce, shoot and edit a variety of training, promotional content, case studies, interviews, how to guides and other ad hoc video projects. This is an amazing opportunity to take what you’ve learnt on your degree and use your own creative ideas and input to produce great content.

The role will work across construction, charity, and corporate environments.

**Role Responsibilities**:
This is a multifaceted role, and as such we are looking for an energetic, dynamic and creative all-rounder to work alongside our marketing and content colleagues. Producing and editing original content to create high-quality videos. This includes lighting, sound, filming and editing/post-production. There will also be an element of photography needed.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Create high-quality videos and photos that tell a compelling story and support the company's brand.
- Plan, shoot and edit video and photo content for various marketing campaigns, website, social media platforms, and internal communications
- Filming - including interviews, video case studies, vlogs, walk-throughs/explainer, internal staff events and more
- Creating moving graphic/animated videos
- Work closely with the marketing team and other internal and external stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives, and provide creative solutions to achieve them
- Manage all aspects of the production process, including planning, scriptwriting, directing, filming, lighting, sound, and editing.
- Be responsible for equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Ensure all shoots are completed within brief and to deadlines
- Work with the team to develop new ideas and concepts that align with the company's strategy and vision
- Editing - using software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar
- Writing creative treatments in response to briefs
- Production - optimise the video for use across digital and social media channels
- Publishing
- Photography
- Graphic design ability (useful, not essential) - add to our in-house resource
- Recommend improvements to Axis’ kit, software and publishing methods
- We also produce drone and virtual tour videos

We’re looking for a recent graduate with a strong portfolio to showcase your corporate work. You should have strong creative skills, including the ability to generate ideas and concepts that align with the company's vision and excellent knowledge of camera equipment (_mirrorless and DSLR_), lighting, and sound techniques.

We use Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and need you to be confident with these packages too.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

In addition to your degree course content you will be an experienced videographer highly skilled in video production and taking a project from start to finish

You will need to be:

- _**Experienced to a high standard**:_This is not a hand-holding position. You must have enough experience to shoot, direct, film, edit and produce fantastic results. You should be highly versatile and have an ability to shoot in a controlled environment, as well as being able to shoot outside or at live events.
- _**Technically proficient with videography**:_Do you understand lighting? Shadows? Can you capture audio to the highest level? Can you frame shots correctly? Do you have enough creativity to produce interesting film and visuals? Can you manage the end-to-end production process?
- _**Understand audio**:_You must have an ability both capture audio to the highest level, but also edit the audio correctly i.e. an understanding of levels, compression, noise reduction, EQ etc.
- _**Creative thinker**:_ You need to have both confidence and the ability to come up with your own ideas and concepts on how you can create a stunning video.
- _**Creative editing ability**:_ You must be able to produce cutting edge videos, therefore a strong ability to edit video. Ensure that videos are correctly optimised for delivery on each channel.
- _**Ability to storyboard**:_Preparation is good. We like to have our video content mapped out before we go to shoot.
- _**Travel**:_You will be required to travel - mainly around London, the South East and Midlands for some shoots.
