General Office Supervisor

The opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated individual to lead the General Office Team at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. On a day-to-day basis the Supervisor will be responsible for leading the General Office Team on customer service, performance management, governance, service development and redesign, working directly with clinical areas to ensure patient experience is of the highest quality. The post holder will also ensure that key operational activity and financial targets are met.
You must be highly motivated with a friendly and approachable manner and possess excellent communication skills. This is a demanding and diverse role, which requires the post holder to work collaboratively across all Care Groups. The post holder will therefore have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, IT and organisational skills and the ability to work independently using their own initiative.

Ability to interpret, monitor and analyse reports with high attention to detail and provide accurate and timely information to Care Groups. Skilled in extracting and validating complex and sensitive data and producing reports and pivot tables.
Comprehensive and practical experience of hospital and IT systems including PAS, MAXIMS, CRIS, Unit 4 and eRoster.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and all Microsoft programmes
Excellent in-depth knowledge and experience of PAS, eNotes, CRIS together with advanced keyboard skills is essential.
Educated to NVQ4 level or equivalent experience with 5 years’ experience of working in the NHS.
.Use knowledge of administrative procedures and current specialised IT systems to play an active role in the redesign of new IT systems and procedures
Robust knowledge and understanding of Trust policies and procedures and Department of Health legislation in relation to Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme, NHS Protect, Interpreting and Translation services and Property management.
