**Open Ended Contract - Permanent: Full Time - 35 Hours per Week**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed colleague with experience or potential to produce exceptional teaching and research in the field of 19th century French Art History.

**The Opportunity**:
You will contribute teaching and develop curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervise doctoral research students. You will develop independent research leading to outcomes, external funding and partnerships, and take of leadership and citizenship roles in History of Art and ECA.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- A PhD (or equivalent qualification) in Art History
- Research expertise in 19th century French Art History
- Evidence of and/or potential to produce high-quality, impactful research outcomes
- Excellent communication skills.
