We have an outstanding opportunity to continue working at #TeamEMR as a Resource Assistant on an initial temporary basis.

The main purpose of this role is to act as the single point of contact between East Midlands Railway Resources Team and the payroll provider for all payroll related contact.

**Main Duties Include**:

- Check for accuracy, and amend timesheets for all On Train, Driver, Station and Fleet grades
- Handle incoming contact associated with payroll queries. Investigate issues, working closely with the payroll provider to rectify issues in a timely manner
- Active record payroll errors and escalate emerging trends to the Lead Resource Manager
- Work closely with stakeholders from the On Train, Drivers, Stations and Fleet Management teams to reduce manual errors arising from poor process management.
- Provide Administrative support the resource team, overseeing resource inbox and process leave and release requests.

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in a regulated industry such as transportation.
- Excellent written and communication skills; to be able to produce detailed written reports.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams.
- Well-developed use of IT packages including Microsoft Office and resourcing systems for the creation of reports/presentations/KPI’s is desirable.
- Confidential and an understanding of GDPR principles
- Ability to quickly prioritise and carry out complex administrative tasks
