You will be fully supported to develop your management and leadership skills in the role, but you must have post-registration experience including working with older adults and have completed mentorship training to be able to mentor students. We will provide further training and supervision to enable you to support the needs of people who are diagnosed with dementia, their relatives and carers. This requires excellent communication and liaison skills which you will have the opportunity to develop further whilst in post. You will be fully supported with developing your interpersonal skills to manage and supervise staff effectively, working with a wide range of experienced and friendly professionals, all with an interest in providing specialist frailty care and the commitment to providing high quality care and compassion.
In return we can offer regular clinical and management supervision to enable your development to achieve your competencies and goals. For further information about this role please see the attached job description and person specification. Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways. Please talk to us at interview about any flexible working arrangements you would prefer or require.
While we may not be able to fully accommodate all requests, such requests will not be referenced during the interview scoring process, and we will fully consider and try to accommodate them for successful applicants.
