You will be fully supported to develop your management and leadership skills in the role, but you must have post-registration experience including working with older adults and have completed mentorship training to be able to mentor students. We will provide further training and supervision to enable you to support the needs of people who are diagnosed with dementia, their relatives and carers. This requires excellent communication and liaison skills which you will have the opportunity to develop further whilst in post. You will be fully supported with developing your interpersonal skills to manage and supervise staff effectively, working with a wide range of experienced and friendly professionals, all with an interest in providing specialist frailty care and the commitment to providing high quality care and compassion.
