**Behaviour Support Assistant - Outstanding School - Brent**

An ‘Outstanding’ School in the borough of Brent is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team.

The school is looking to recruit a skilled and committed individual to provide specific and direct support to students working alongside a successful behaviour team supporting the whole school community.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will be part of a team that works hand in hand with the pastoral team to ensure teachers are equipped to provide high quality teaching to all children with mínimal disruption. In your role as a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will seek to develop and implement behaviour strategies in which pupils can interact purposefully, learn in a positive manner, and communicate effectively with others.

**JOB DESCRIPTION - Behaviour Support Assistant**
- Behaviour Support Assistant
- Support the behaviour support lead and the senior pastoral team with key behaviour support across the school
- Help maintain and establish pupil discipline across the whole school
- Design, oversee, monitor and evaluate positive behaviour support plans
- Work and support with a caseload of students from KS3
- September Start
- Full time & long-term role - entire academic year
- £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
- Benefits package including being paid in line with national pay scales (AWR), healthcare package, discount gym membership, and referral bonuses of up to £250
- Located in the borough of Brent

**PERSON SPECIFICATION - Behaviour Support Assistant**
- A strong academic background - GCSEs, A Levels and a degree from a reputable university
- Child related experience an advantage - Tutor / TA / Mentor
- Knowledge of positive behaviour support would be ideal
- Have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil
- Personable role model with excellent conduct and a relatable approach
- Polite, calm and professional under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Versatile team player and dedicated individual
