**Behaviour Mentor - SEN School - Brent**

An ‘Outstanding’ rated SEN school is looking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to join their dynamic team. The school aims for every child to realise and achieve their true potential with the right support and teaching through their adapted curriculum and use of evidence based teaching methodologies. Their goal is to inspire students to achieve beyond their perceived capabilities. The school is fully resourced and equipped to meet the diverse needs of their students.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be supporting students with autism and complex needs. You will be dedicated to providing differentiated support to all students, with a strong emphasis on learning and maintaining a calm learning environment.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be helping them to grow and develop, both in terms of academic and social progress, using an engaging, hands - on approach. **Job Description - Behaviour Mentor**
- Behaviour Mentor
- All - through SEN School - Roles available in Primary and Secondary departments
- Working with students with SEN
- Behaviour and learning support
- Engaging, hands - on learning style and adapted curriculum
- Working independently with small groups of pupils
- Full time, long term contract
- £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
- Located in Brent

**Person Specification - Behaviour Mentor**
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH and / or SEN
- Ability to differentiate work according to individual needs
- Good behaviour management, literacy and numeracy skills
- Resilient and adaptable
- Enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference for children with SEN
- Knowledge of a range of interventions and their effect on children with an EHCP
- Inspire a love of learning for all students
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Good communication and organisation
- Work closely with teachers and support staff
