- and post-SRM processes are listed below. The post will play a key role in facilitating the SRMs by ensuring the necessary documentation is available to allow appropriate treatment decision-making by the clinical leads present and work closely with them to ensure that this decision-making is captured accurately.
This post will play a key role in the SRM group, working closely with the Clinical Lead Key Duties: Organize virtual Microsoft Teams SRMs for key participants. Prepare discussion lists for actionable findings and prioritize critical reports. Compile weekly SRM lists for specific participants and circulate them in advance. Attend and provide live secretarial support.
Follow procedures for accurate recording of CT scan outcomes on our own Spectra system. Keep records of attendance for compliance with Cancer Services standards. Share SRM outcomes summaries within 24 hours. Assist in creating and sending outcome letters to participants and GPs, manually handling referrals until automated.
Close Spectra records for participants leaving our targeted lung health department, noting diagnostic outcomes from local clinicians. Key Experience GCSE level or equivalent in English Proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially Word Familiarity with Spectra software Strong attention to detail Accurate data input with good keyboard skills Competent in typing and secretarial tasks Excellent communication abilities Self-planning capabilities Team-oriented, supportive, and reliable Calm under challenging situations Flexible and adaptable Effective time and workload management skills
