Palliative Care Nurse Associate

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Associate to join our team at St Lukes Hospice in Cheshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to patients and their families, working closely with our experienced nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients and families in our Day Hospice and across the hospice settings
- Supervise and guide students, junior members of staff, unqualified carers, and volunteers in the Hospice
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Hospice service, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care
- Participate in multi-disciplinary and clinical meetings, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our patients
- Liaise with other professional groups involved in patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
Person Specification
- Registered Nurse Associate on the NMC register
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification
- GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
