Purpose of Role:
A senior Leader accountable for the transition programme scope ensuring smooth implementation of all components of people, process, technology as per agreed timeline and budgets. The Service Transition Director will ensure seamless communication between all key stakeholders to oversee and manage the specific transition programme workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Compliance: Design and leadership of transition programme governance forums to ensure oversight of global programme performance, ensuring appropriate involvement and accountability across Weir.

Stakeholder Relationships: Ensure effective engagement across the business through stakeholder mapping, planned engagement and timely communication, continuously evaluating the effectiveness of the programme team in delivering high quality and efficient services.

Transition Programme Deliverables: Oversee and manage the workstreams including:
- Detailed Transition Plan and Transition Kick off- Detailed Knowledge Transfer approach and plan- Service Readiness Criteria- Technology Infrastructure Assessment and Design- Technology Tools Requirements/ deploy and test- Status, Issues and Action Item Log- Implementation of Go-Live governance process

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Considerable proven experience working in programme or project management. Beneficial to have experience of shared service environment or large global complex/matrixed organisation.- An understanding of, and a passion for, process analysis and design, change management, financial/budget management, etc- Experience of working in a dynamic major transition/transformation programme and fast-moving change environment, with the ability to support others in their change delivery.- Makes decisions with confidence based on analysis of available information, awareness of stakeholder priorities and in alignment with objectives.- Degree educated or equivalent experience
