Sales Force Developer Europe

Are you looking for a new challenge and want to be part of a global business? We have a new role to join our European IT team based in the UK. This is a home-based role working within a growing cross functional team and offers opportunity to be hands on with the latest Salesforce products.
Your role
Reporting to the Salesforce Platform Manager you will be instrumental to the expansion of the European Salesforce solution, a key deliverable on our transformation project roadmaps. Features will be built on and aligned with our current Salesforce implementation and as such communication and alignment within the immediate team as well as across scrum teams is a must.
This role will require you to gain a broad understanding of the business, working across the entire European business to design and build a robust, scalable solution in line with strategic direction of JELD-WEN. This currently includes exciting projects such as a new Salesforce re-org, telephony and CPQ systems to be integrated into Salesforce across our European estate.
What your impact will be
- To design and deliver Salesforce solutions in line with current and future implementation to ensure robustness and scalability across the European business.
- To document design decisions, build notes and test plans.
- To become the “Go To” person for Salesforce knowledge within the value stream, whilst coaching and sharing knowledge across the delivery team.
- To work with other developers in the team and across the delivery function to ensure quality and scalability are at the forefront of our development.
- To define & document test cases and assist with UAT across the business.
- To work with the Product Owner to ensure all stories are captured and sequencing of key deliverables considered.
What you'll need to succeed
- 2+ Years experience working with Salesforce.
- Able to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification & willingness to work toward further certifications
- Experience as a Developer within the Manufacturing Industry
- Experience with Apex and Visualforce
- Experience with Salesforce Flows and Process Builder
- Experience with Sales & Service Cloud
- Experience with Marketing Cloud
- Experience with CI/CD and Deployment tools
- Knowledge or Experience of Salesforce OMS or SFDX
- Knowledge or Experience of Field Service Lightning
- Knowledge or Experience of E-Commerce/CPQ (Salesforce or other)
- Experience with providing technical solutions and supporting documentation
- Comfortable with Salesforce administrator activities as well as developer activities
