The Business Change team operates in a fast-paced environment, delivering programmes and projects which have a deep and substantial impact on all areas of the Council and on the way in which the public access services.

You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training
- To be the Council’s operational expert lead on portfolio and programme management and the delivery of sustained change across the Council with the ability to coach and develop these skills in others.
- Lead on managing the planning, implementation and tracking of the Council’s business change programme ensuring the business and strategic goals of the programme are met, driving, and sustaining momentum in delivering improvements for customers, savings and non-financial benefits.
- Advise and support senior managers to enable them to lead and direct the programme and project activity they are accountable for delivering.

What we’re looking for

A highly skilled business change programme manager; a strategic thinker who leads with enthusiasm, positivity, determination, and resilience. You should have significant knowledge and demonstrable experience of leading and managing change portfolios/programmes in a complex multi-functional organisation, ideally in a political environment.
