An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Department of Ophthalmology. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual for the site of Pilgrim. The Failsafe Officer will support the Ophthalmology service and ensure patients are managed within the guideline timescales. The post of Failsafe Officer will provide the interface between clinicians, supporting staff and patients to manage and develop the overall patient pathway to ensure that patients are seen and treated within the correct timescales in order to maintain patient safety.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent customer care and interpersonal skills. You will be required to have GCSE English Language Grade C or equivalent, Word/Text Processing Skills or have equivalent knowledge acquired through further experience. Customer Service experience is preferable and knowledge of RTT 18 week pathways and validation processes.

Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.
