Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our school family who pride themselves on an environment where children are valued and everyone lives our school Christian values every day. The appointment will suit someone with high expectations of behaviour and achievement from all children.
We are looking for an individual who is:

- a creative and knowledgeable practitioner who has high expectations of our children
- able to establish positive relationships with children and adults to become part of our school family
- able to assist in the monitoring/recording of children's progress and development
- able to support the promotion of positive relationships with parents, children and all stakeholders
- understands the needs, and has experience of working with primary aged children
- Flexibility to work across all Key Stages is desirable.

The post available is initially for 16 hours per week as a TA and 5 hours welfare, on a variable hours contract. Minimum hours of the contract will be 10. This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications

GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English LanguageDesirable Qualifications

NVQ level 2 or above qualification -appropriate to the post (or equivalent)Desirable Experience
- Experience of working with children in a classroom environment
- Working with EYFS, KS1 and KS2 children
- experience of delivering Phonics
- Administrative work
- Interventions with individual and groups of children
