Shipping Administrator

**Working Hours**: 40 hours per week

**Salary**: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum DOE

Please note, the role may include occasional out-of-hours mobile support, covering some evenings and weekends.

**Responsibilities Include but not limited to**:

- Efficiently and cost-effectively allocate labour for Roro operations.
- Coordinate daily with fellow Allocators and the Operations Manager on staffing needs.
- Accurately record all assignments and communications in our database.
- Process timesheets, invoices, purchase orders and other administrative tasks related to operations.
- Assist the Manager with AFP’s
- Collaborate with the Recruitment Team to address staffing needs and shortages.
- Liaise with external agencies when necessary.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Superlative administration skills.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Analytical and methodical thinker.
- Strong IT skills.
- Driving License
- Reliable & Hardworking.
- A Full UK Drivers Licence.
- Experience within a Port/Shipping environment

**Favourable Criteria**:

- Experience within a Port/Shipping Environment.
- Experienced using RDB software.
- Experience in an employment agency setting.
