Governance Administrator

We are looking for a highly experienced individual to deliver an efficient service in the role of 'Governance Administrator', within the Adult Community Services Governance Team, based at Horton House.
You will work with some of the most inspirational colleagues in the NHS; all of whom strive to make a significant and positive difference to the lives of our patients, service users and their families.
Specifically, you will provide full administrative support to the Divisional Clinical Governance Manager, Deputy Divisional Clinical Governance Managers and Governance Coordinator - Supporting the team in the smooth running of the day to day operations of the governance service.
There is a significant amount of change on the horizon in the way that we deliver our governance services, and you can be part of this exciting journey.

Previous administrative experience is important along with your drive, enthusiasm, attitude to work and willingness to adapt and learn.

- You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative service therefore, good keyboard & typing skills are essential.
- Assisting in the administration of the incident and risk reporting system (Datix) by uploading documents, actions, reports and risks
- Supporting the governance team to ensure timely response to requests for statements/information/reports/actions
- Booking meetings and the taking of minutes as and when required
- Collating and retrieving information as requested
- Use of a variety of software packages such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel etc to produce correspondence and maintain records, spreadsheets and databases.
- Use the Datix risk management and incident reporting system.
- Liaise with other staff in other services with external contacts.
- Manage own workload and act independently within occupational guidelines, using own initiative, seeking advice where necessary from the governance team and line manager, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times
