**Senior Training Administrator**
**The Role**
This is a Monday to Friday role working 37.5 hours per week.
**Key Requirements**
- Assist on training events and recruitment days with admin tasks such as; registering employees, checking documents, issuing appropriate documents, providing PP etc
- Organise department meetings and attending, taking notes, and sending out meeting minutes when needed.
- Liaising with the Training Delivery Supervisory identifying imminent training events, ensuring all training materials are prepared and making sure all equipment is available and set up prior.
- Being able to make suggested changes to the current training course document as agreed with management and upload accurately to all document management sites.
- Organising and maintaining the correct stock level of PPE items. Re-order items when necessary.
- Create paperwork packs including all required documents for employees and instructors prior to the training event.
- Issuing permits and checking monthly permit expiry dates, issuing / replacing permits when required.
- Maintain stationary levels and order relevant items when stock is low.
- Audit the input of data and subsequent reporting on training databases to monitor accuracy / security and clarify that date protection is maintained.
- Observe general house keeping duties of all Cedric house and 75 park training facilities.
- Actioning holiday requestions making sure all staffing needs are met and updating them on internal system.
- Organise travel requirements for training needs (travel arrangements, hotel accommodation etc.)
**Who are we looking for?**
**Suitable applicants should meet the following criteria**:
**Essential**:
- Certificates in typing / PC skills (i.e. NVQ / GNVQ Level 2 in Administration)
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
- Strong knowledge MS office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- High Standard of attention of detail when compiling documentation.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and work well with in a team
- High level of concentration and diligence to make sure all work is completed accurately and to the best standard.
- Have experience of being well-developed planning and organisational skills.
- Have an approachable nature.
**Desirable**:
- Full DVLA (Cat ‘C’) driving licence
- At least 12 months experience working in an office administration role, and with an ability to work on own initiative within their own areas of responsibility.
- Knowledge of port operations.
