**Job summary**:
Revenue Jersey has a number of permanent and fixed term contract vacancies across our business areas for Assistant Revenue Officers.

Do you want to work in an exciting and challenging environment? Do you have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills? We have a number of vacancies across our Business Tax, GST, Employer Customers, Personal and International Tax business areas.

The roles offer various opportunities to work as part of a team where collaboration and support are key in order to deliver excellent customer service, either face to face, in writing or on the phone. You will be reviewing and analysing financial statements to ensure that all tax data is declared accurately within the provisions of the Laws.

All of these roles are crucial across all of our business areas and provide an excellent development opportunity within Revenue Jersey.

Business Customer Tax
The roles offer various opportunities to work as part of a team reviewing and scrutinising returns that are received to ensure that all income is declared, and expenses are consistent and allowable within the provisions of the Laws. Strong analytical skills are required, and an accounting background would be advantageous, but not essential.

Employer Customers
The roles within the Employer Customers team provide responsibility for the administration of employer ITIS and Class 1 and Class 2 Contributions. The roles are interesting and varied and include reviewing and scrutinising ITIS and Contributions data submitted on the Combined Employer Return to ensure that all data is declared accurately within the provisions of the Laws.

International Tax
The roles offer the chance to work with teams collecting and exchanging tax information with other countries, providing advice and support with regard to international compliance under Jersey's current and forthcoming international tax agreements. You will support businesses making returns to ensure that every business that needs to submit reports does so completely and correctly.

Personal Income Tax
The roles involve reviewing and scrutinising returns that are received to ensure that all income declared and claims for relief made are consistent and allowable within the provisions of the Laws.
