- Managing the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll.
- Ensuring compliance with current government regulations.
- Establishing and implementing policies on matters such as payroll advancements to employees.
- Preparing and filing tax returns and forms.
- Responding to and resolving any payroll related queries from employees.
- Conducting periodic audits of payroll procedures and data.
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of payroll transactions.
- Updating general ledger and payroll files.

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:

- A thorough understanding of payroll procedures and related legislation.
- Proficiency in relevant payroll software.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
- Strong communication skills to deal with queries and build relationships with staff.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
