- Job Description
- We are looking for a Transport Administrator to be a part of our Logistics team. You will be responsible for assisting the Transport team with all day to day transportation activities. Helping develop efficient transport operations and optimizing the existing strategies will be a part of your job role. Besides, you should be able to prepare transportation schedules and assign service providers
- You will be liaising with service providers and customer services to understand their requirements and accordingly advise them on delivery status tracking the transportation of orders ensuring timely updates to customer services are also your responsibilities. In addition, you will be responsible for performing administrative duties such as portal entries, updating tracker reports, and maintaining entries.
**Responsibilities and Deliverables**
- Coordinating with the Transportation team regarding transportation planning and strategies
- Ensuring compliance with the safety standards and transportation department SOPs
- Handling any customer service complaints and processing the urgent ones to the Senior Management
- Receiving customer requests and bookings
- Planning daily transportation and assigning service providers
- Performing administrative duties such as preparing and maintaining tracker reports documents, invoices, advising customer services of delivery status
- Transport invoicing process tasks ensuring all transport provider invoices are coded ready for the accounts department.
- Any reasonable Transport related tasks to support the transport support function.
**Qualification, Skills and Attributes**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative Department
- Basic knowledge of supply chain and inventory management
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office/Teams
- Ability to coordinate and influence key stakeholders- Familiarity with logistics software like SAP
- Knowledge of transportation and safety standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Quick decision-making ability
