**Job Title: IT Service Design Consultant**

We are currently seeking an IT Service Design Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. As a consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting the design and maturing IT service solutions for our client. You will be well versed in analysing business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping to create innovative service designs that will contribute to the development and delivery of efficient and effective IT services.

This contract opportunity will predominately involve remote working, with trips to the Netherlands.

Dutch language skills are highly desirable.

**Job Overview**:
As an IT Service Design Consultant, you will provide valuable expertise in designing and enhancing IT service solutions for our clients. Working collaboratively with the service design team and engaging with customer stakeholders, you will analyse business requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and create innovative service designs. Your primary goal will be to support the development and delivery of efficient and effective IT services that align with our clients' needs. This role offers a flexible contracting arrangement and presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth and skill development in IT service design.

**About You**:
As a dedicated and driven professional, you bring experience in service design, with a strong analytical mindset enabling you to tackle complex problems with ease. Effective communication skills allow you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring that business requirements are translated into practical and efficient service designs. Your passion for continuous learning, adaptability to changing environments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in gathering and analysing business requirements to identify improvement opportunities for IT service design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and effective IT service designs.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of service processes, including service catalogues, service level agreements (SLAs), and service blueprints.
- Support the development and maintenance of IT service management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure service designs align with technical capabilities and requirements.

**Personal Qualities**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective service designs.
- Solid understanding of IT service management principles, frameworks (e.g., ITIL), and best practices.
- Familiarity with service design methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Visio
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
