**Job Summary**

The Consultant is a member of the Professional Services Consulting business, taking an active role in delivery engagements alone or as part of a team of other consultants or specialists. The Consultant must have experience of delivering successful projects as well as strong knowledge of the business challenges in their chosen field.

The Consultant must possess good interpersonal skills to build relationships with their teams as well as the wider business and their clients. The Consultant must possess the ability to develop client relationships to assist in driving Services Sales in addition to their project roles.

**Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Liaise with clients and business representatives to understand the needs of the business.
- Liaise with other professionals to design and assist in the design of ‘fit for purpose’ solutions to businesses and client requirements.
- Render consulting and technical support services to the project team during implementation.
- Explain technical issues and IT solution strategies to stakeholders and other IT professionals.
- Ensure that solutions designed are in sync with business needs and resources available.
- Responsible for designing and constructing solutions which can meet the demands and specifications of the client.
- Implementation of technical solutions and upgrades in accordance with the agreed designs.
- Working closely with all departments to ensure project and service delivery meets customer expectations.
- Collaborating with the Project Management team to assure successful delivery.

Assist in the creation of commercial documentation to support the organisation’s client engagements.
- Assistance in the definition of appropriate sales offerings in line with the current and future technical attributes within the practice.
- Maintaining up to date technical knowledge in the Microsoft 365 environment.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory).
- Good knowledge of business and consulting techniques.

Breadth and depth of knowledge and business acumen obtained from experience of project and programme management.
- Experience of a variety of industries, public or private sector.
- Demonstrable experience of working in change environments with stakeholders.
- Experience of working across departments to achieve goals and results.
- Experience of negotiation and influencing techniques including the ability to challenge constructively.
- Experience of facilitating group discussions.
- Experience in business case development.
- Experience in technical business change methodologies and techniques.

- Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC).
- Azure Active Directory Identity and Access Control via Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Appropriate Microsoft Qualifications.
