**Title**:
Programme Controls Officer

We have a thrilling new opportunity for a **Programme Controls Officer **to join a major nuclear programme in the West of Scotland.

You will assist the Head of Portfolio Controls with developing and implementing standards and tools to ensure consistency of controls and reporting. The work you do will give you exposure to senior stakeholders, project teams and customers and you will be part of a highly skilled and ambitious team.

Some of your Responsibilities:

- Support Project Delivery teams and project managers to deliver high quality monthly reporting to a consistent standard.
- Mine data from the standard reports and ad hoc reports to aggregate into Programme and Portfolio reporting.
- Develop process and tools to ensure consistent capture and reporting of information required for control.
- For key controls data, analyse trends so that your key stakeholders can make timely interventions and continuously improve our delivery.
- Preparing/editing documents: compiling and updating spreadsheets, assisting with the production of presentations, reports and correspondence.
- Creation, updating and publishing of action logs and trackers.
- Production of concise and accurate meeting minutes, notes and actions.

**What We Need**

You will have demonstrable experience of project, programme or portfolio controls.

We would like to see excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

It is essential that you have an excellent working knowledge of the tools required to communicate data in a way that reaches your target audience.
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PowerBI
- SharePoint

**Security Requirements**

You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance.

Due to the nature of this project, only British born nationals will be considered.

**Location**

You will need your own transport and must be prepared to travel to site at least 3 days per week.

The client site is in the Argyll and Bute area.

You may also be required to spend time at the office in Central Glasgow.
