The Company’s software solutions are used throughout the building lifecycle from early planning and design stages through to construction, interior fit out, asset management and facilities management to support project management, project scheduling, cost estimation, visualisation, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and property management.
- Role purpose:
As a Software Consultant, you will be part of the Professional Services Team providing expert guidance and support to our clients in the UK. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional consulting services, managing client relationships, and driving successful project outcomes.

Using industry knowledge and customer processes will enable the implementation of Elecosoft’s award-winning project planning software “Asta Powerproject” and associated product suite.

The Software Consultant must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users across the product portfolio. The Software Consultant must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
- Key responsibilities:
- Provide consultancy services, configuring the system in accordance with customer requirements, processes and methodology.
- Presales involvement.
- Managing the implementation process at all stages from its initiation.
- Implementation handover to internal stakeholders after completion.
- Gathering requirements from customers to enhance products and services.
- Identify growth opportunities.
- Provide upsell/cross-sell leads to the Sales team.
- Able to collaborate with peers and product management (and development) to develop technical solutions.
- Able to attend account review meetings with major accounts to keep informed about the life cycle evolvement of the implemented customer solution.
- Able to provide guidance and make decisions on changes required throughout the design process.
- Able to analyse complex customer requirements and propose compliant technical solutions within the functional scope of the product.
- Responsible for presenting the product to customers online, at customer premises and field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
- Responsible for the capture of a customer’s technical requirements during the sales process and their documentation, for example in formal proposals and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Able to provide rapid, accurate responses to technical questions from sales staff.
- Must possess an understanding of both technical and commercial business processes in order to build confidence with customers.
- Knowledge, Skills/Abilities and Experience:
**Essential**:

- Ability to lead customer discussion and manage effectively.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must be able to interact with all levels of a client’s organisation.
- Experience in managing a range of projects with different intricacies.
- Knowledge of using Powerproject or a similar construction planning software.
- Highly proficient with Excel, Word & Outlook
- Construction industry knowledge and a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Project Management (Hands-On).

**Desirable**:

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and other performance targets set by the company.
- Power BI Experience.
- SQL Server Experience.
- Understanding of Dashboard Report Writing.
- Qualifications:

- A-Level or equivalent

- Experience in a software delivery / consultancy / implementation / project management related role.

- Working hours and location:
- The normal working hours are from 9.00 -17.30 Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch (37.5-hour week). From time to time, you may be required to work additional hours to fully perform your job in accordance with the needs of the business.
