Due to project wins, they are looking for a Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

**What is the purpose of the role?**

The Liaison Officer delivers a liaison service for repairs to properties. They inform and involve customers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth development and delivery of the works.

**Why is the role important?**

The role consults, informs and involves customers and other stakeholders, to develop and sustain positive partnerships and relationships to ensure the efficient delivery of Bolton at Home’s schemes of work.

**What’s involved?**
- Ensure the delivery of information to customers and stakeholders in the design and implementation of works undertaken by the client.
- Advise customers and stakeholders regarding schemes undertaken by the organisation.
- Liaise with customers in the completion of decoration allowance/subsistence allowance and insurance forms.
- Communicate with customers to ensure that works are undertaken with the minimum of inconvenience to the customer.
- Consult, encourage support the involvement of customers in the design and monitoring of schemes of work.
- Arrange surgeries on site for customers and arrange attend meetings with tenants, residents, organisations, contractors.
- Monitor customer involvement and satisfaction throughout a project by carrying out customer satisfaction surveys, providing data analysis and to investigate and ensure an appropriate response to any problems identified.
- Responsible for ordering services and works in connection with the transferring of customers while improvements are undertaken to their homes authorise invoices and report related expenditure.
- Respond to queries and complaints from customers regarding any programmed work and special projects.

- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build strong, productive and professional relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience working with the community/ public on various community issues and advising solutions.
- Experience of housing issues and relevant local matters which impact customers.
- Knowledge of basic domestic construction and fault finding.

**What you will need**
We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong customer focus, able to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring our customers are fully supported and consulted on schemes of work. Knowledge of basic building construction would be an advantage. We are looking for a flexible individual who can adapt and provide solutions to suit different customer preferences and needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
