Agile Coach
**Description**
As part of our Google Cloud Transformation, we have started to adopt a product operating model to bring the business and technology closer together, enabling us to work in a more agile and collaborative way. At a high level, we are forming cross-functional product teams that bring together individuals with complementary skill sets to own all aspects of these products from vision, roadmaps, design, development, testing and operation, helping to drive greater alignment and shared ownership in the process. While only a handful of these product teams exist today, that number will grow over time as we extend this structure to more and more areas of our business. So, we need to make sure the organization is prepared to meet that demand, both for today and for the future.
An Agile Coach provides expertise and knowledge to train multiple teams to adopt Lean Agile best practices. The coach instructs teams during initial phase of change and provides ongoing mentorship to sustain and improve.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Trains teams on Lean Agile and Product Operating Model best practices
- Coaches executives, business, Product Manager, and specialized teams (e.g., Compliance, Legal) about the best practices and their roles
- Creates and helps to execute implementation plan to adopt Lean Agile practices and Product Operating model across the organization
- Collaborates with community of practice to standardize trainings, formulate best practices and guidance pods
- Enhances content for training pods, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and executives
- Mentors existing teams and roles to sustain and improve
**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
- Knowledge of XP and Lean a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Strong project management skills and experience with tools like RACI charts, burndown charts, GANTT charts, Kanban boards, wikis, and bug trackers
- Experience working as a Scrum Master and Agile coach
- Certifications in Agile disciplines a plus
