**Where in the world of OVO will I be working?**

This role can be based in either our London, Bristol offices.

You'll be working across the entire OVO business, and be part of the people experience leadership team. Defining our Reward strategy and approach and leading the development of our reward products working cross functionally across the people community. We have a diverse business focussed on different types of work, with many different needs. This role will report into the People Experience Director

**What will I be doing?**

Leading on all aspects of Reward for the OVO and leading & managing a team of compensation & benefits specialists. You'll engender creative thinking, offer proactive commercial solutions and deliver exceptional service and a progressive reward offering balancing value to our people with value to our business. You will be the Reward lead across the group, engaging with our people, the people leadership team, senior leadership teams and retail board as and when required.

The role is responsible for:
**Reward Frameworks & Processes**
- Leading on the creation and ownership of transparent, flexible and progressive pay frameworks - scalable, relatable to our diverse workforce.
- Ownership for the full "pay lifecycle" for our people - bringing it to life by ensuring reward "products", processes and practices are embedded from onboarding through to exit - working cross functional across the people team to develop tools and improve the way we explain pay at OVO
- Developing and leading all cyclical reward processes - including promotions, pay changes, bonus and long-term incentive plans - with a continuous improvement mindset
- Design and embed bonus and incentive arrangements
- Develop, own and iterate our job architecture, ensuring it always represents the way we are working
- Create and deliver reward and pay insight that is relevant and easily understood, to inform the effectiveness of compensation programmes
- Use broad external networks, market insight and continuous internal feedback to find innovative ways to deliver pay supported by transparent and simple frameworks and guidance
- Work with key stakeholders to embed Plan Zero into our pay and reward frameworks in a way that encourages continuous focus on our long term goals

**Executive Pay**
- Providing expertise in all aspects of executive compensation, managing and executing the appropriate Executive Remuneration Committee structure to support the Board, presenting to the Board as and when required.
- Leading and evolving the governance framework for compensation, working within the overall Risk & Governance framework
- Managing and executing on the delivery of all equity programmes group wide

**Benefits & wellbeing**
- Leading the design and delivery of the benefits and wellbeing elements of OVO's people offer
- Manage the suite of supplier & systems infrastructure
- Lead on pensions strategy, including the management of Defined Benefit & Defined contribution plans
- Lead on OVO's health & wellbeing strategy
- Ownership for the full total reward budget
- Use external networks & market insight to continually evolve a progressive & compliant benefits offering
- Partner with the People Engagement and Inclusion & Belonging teams to drive engagement with OVO people offering

**Business Partnership**
- Leading inclusion within Reward, partnering with the People leadership team and Group I&D Lead to champion positive progress and deliver on Gender pay reporting and any other diversity requirements
- Operate as the reward SME for all business transactions, M&A's or major business change programmes.
- Partnering with Finance leadership to deliver seamless cost management for all elements of compensation
