An exciting opportunity has become available within the Business Customer Data & Insight Team.

This team are responsible for managing and delivering data-driven activities across all aspects of the customers’ lifecycle and channels within CBS and small business.

The purpose of this role is to ensure quality and timely delivery of all data outputs and to report on performance. This encompasses building data management processes and delivering data to meet business requirements across Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Operational Comms, Commercial and Regulatory teams.

This role offers lots of variety and the opportunity to work with stakeholders across multiple business units. A unique and challenging role offering vast development possibilities where no one day will look the same.

**Location**:
With our Flexible First working arrangements we empower our colleagues to work in a way that best suits them - meaning location doesn’t need to be a barrier. This role will be Homebased with the occasional meeting in Leicester.

**Key Accountabilities for the job holder are**:

- Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
- Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
- Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
- Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
- Support the Data Operations Manager in managing ongoing data activities across multiple functions, external agencies and internal stakeholders
- Receive daily/weekly data files - audit, process and deliver to the relevant stakeholders and be responsible for quality assurance in and out of the team.
- Process data selections, suppressions and output criteria.
- Ensure compliance with the contention management process across customers and prospects keeping a log of all outgoing communication files and ensuring they are all loaded into our campaign warehouse in a timely manner.
- Ensure we are on track against and can report against key performance indicators for the team.
- Responsible for updating the logs on an ongoing basis, tracking and delivering the KPIs monthly
- Support processing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and Data Breach investigations

**What we need from you **

We are looking for someone with the ability to work on individual projects as well as part of a team. You will have good attention to detail and focus on quality. An understanding of GDPR, Data Privacy and Data Protection regulations will aid the role holder.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel, Access and PowerPoint will be essential to carry out this role and ideally a knowledge of internal systems and processes including experience with SAP CRM, SAP ISU.

SQL Server Management Studio and Language also play a vital part in this role although we would be happy to provide training on this.
