Due to continued growth and back-to-back record months, our client is looking for a Sales Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager to join their team. Working closely with the Sales Director and Marketing team you will be required to deliver salesacross their full product portfolio, whilst maintaining and growing your client base.
- **Job Title**: Sales Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager
- **Salary**: £28,000 OTE Y1 £50k (Uncapped)

**Sales Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager - Responsibilities / Duties**
- To help sell and grow professional services within the education sector
- Own the relationship with new prospects - communicating with them and driving sales forward.
- Liaise with sales and marketing teams to identify new routes to increased revenue generation.
- Retain and grow our existing client revenue through proactive account management and generate revenue opportunities throughout existing customers that you have a relationship with.
- Represent the company by visiting prospective customers to discuss our services
- To create and maintain an account management and sales plan
- To participate in (and potentially own) the completion of sales tenders.
- When required, attend conferences, meetings, and industry events - Learn and understand what is happening within the Education market.

**Sales Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager - Skills/Experience**
- Experience in a customer-facing role, such as Account Manager, Teacher or other sales/customer service experience
- A consultative & professional approach
- Have a Can-do attitude, good listening skills and ability to build rapport in a short space of time with mínimal supervision
- Skilled and committed user of technology and relevant software systems
- Strong interpersonal skills, including strategic influencing/negotiation skills with the ability to relate to and communicate effectively with people at all levels, manage differing expectations of all stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and presentational skills with an ability to communicate ideas, issues, and procedures successfully at all levels to various audiences
- Sound judgment and ability to handle competing priorities and a challenging workload in a pressurized environment
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Previous experience as an Account Manager would be beneficial, however not essential as full training will be provided
