We are recruiting an experienced Shipping Co-ordinator to join a successful company based in the Leicester area.

Working in a small team, the main purpose of the role will be to monitoring import arrivals, communicating with customers warehouses and keeping databases updated.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate with internal teams, factories, and external logistics to fulfil on time deliveries
- Review all import shipping documentation
- Liaise with freight forwarding agents
- Ensure all paperwork is accurately processed
- Previous experience of import freight shipping and knowledge of customs procedures
- Knowledge of liaising with airlines and shipping lines
- Good organisation skills
- A problem-solving, pro-active approach
