**UK’s largest health and social care charities**. We work hard to enriching the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of
**‘Your Life, Your Choice’** and our strategy
**‘Best Lives Possible’.**

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support. In return, we go the extra mile for them by
**investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development.** We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
We support and care for people with different abilities. We currently have an age range of between 30- 50 years old. We support a number of people; we communicate closely with the people we support family as they are a big part of their lives. We thrive in making a difference in the people we support life by having compassion and committing ourselves, helping them to achieve their goals by providing them with courage. “Best life possible” is something we always aim to achieve; we like to believe that the people we support also contribute to staff’s best lives possible.

Our Home
- We are a supported living home made up of houses bungalows and flats
- There is shared space in the house 1 and house 2 where we can eat together and chat which includes the kitchen, dining room and sitting room.
- There is parking available on-site for friends and family
- We have a large front garden where we enjoy having BBQs and in summer watching our flowers grow We have plans to do up our garden and have more flowers planted

Our home is convenient for getting out and about:

- We close to all local amenities, and we are also close to Cowley centre
- We have lovely parks nearby where we enjoy walking
- Good bus links to Oxford centre and other surrounding areas. We live in house and have our own mobility vehicles

Most of us are mobile but some need a little bit of physical assistance to get around our house and out and about. We have different challenges in our lives which include epilepsy, cerebral palsy dysphagia, autism and learning disabilities. We have a staff team who are all trained and familiar with supporting someone with similar needs.

We need someone who will try and get to know us and understand our wishes and desires, to be patient, respectful, to be understanding, to have a sense of humour, to enjoy similar activities as we do.
- We want someone who is confident in what they do, can ask us questions, and allow us to also ask questions. We want new ideas that we can try out.

**Your values**:
**You don't**
**necessarily**
**need to come in the care sector** - what is important are your values, work ethic, a caring and compassionate nature, good communication skills, and a genuine passion to make a difference, daily, to the lives of the people that we support.

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why
