Senior Sales Executive

St Albans

Permanent, Mon-Fri, 8am to 6pm

Salary £35,000 - OTE to £45,000

Are you innovative, a strong communicator, self-motivated and proactive?

Do you have drive, determination and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, customer driven market?

My client, an established, resilient and forward-thinking UK based operator and freight forwarder, provides logistics solutions for UK and EU Manufacturers, Importers and Exporters.

Main Duties
- New business sales, canvassing for manufacturers and other potential new businesses.
- Contact by telephone and meet with prospective clients.
- Account Management.
- Gather information to help design and compile presentations/quotations for prospective clients.

Your Skill Set
- Sales experience, mainly office based
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Ability and focus on building long-term relationships with clients.
- New business sales background.
- The ability to make structured and effective cold calls.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- IT and computer literate.
- Strong tenacity and work ethic.
- Team player.
