**Overview -** Target Housing is a Registered Social Landlord, providing supported accommodation across South Yorkshire and Humberside. We support around 1500 people at any given time to increase their independence, maintain their accommodation and achieve their potential.

**Job role** - To provide high quality housing related services to asylum seekers accommodated by the Home Office. You will promote the integration and settlement of refugees to enable them to participate fully in society, by holistically identifying their social and welfare needs. You will also effectively facilitate the communication and engagement between the refugees and other agencies. We are looking for someone with an understanding of the issue’s asylum seekers face and experience of working with vulnerable people. Day to day the work will include helping people to move in to and manage their accommodation, connecting them with local services and inspecting properties.

**Required Experience **
- Experience of providing support to vulnerable people in a housing environment
- A good understanding of the challenges ethnic minorities may face
- Knowledge of housing Health and Safety
- An understanding of immigration regulations and the asylum-seeking process
- You will be organised and personable and able to work with a wide range of people
- Full UK driving licence and access to a road worthy vehicle
