There are 3 vacancies available in the following areas within the Clinical Governance Team:
1.0 wte Patient Safety Team

1.0 wte Complaints Team

1.0 wte Compliance Team

The post holders will provide administration support to either the Patient Safety Team, Complaints Team or the Compliance Team; with an overarching aim of improving the quality of patient care and outcomes.

The post holders will liaise closely with the four Divisional Directorates supporting the Trust, Division, Clinical Business Unit and Specialty requirements.

From time to time the post holder may encounter sensitive information relating to patients, visitors or other members of staff. The ability to handle that information with compassion, empathy and integrity, along with a degree of emotional resilience, will be important in the role.

Above all, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about demonstrating good quality practice within our Clinical Governance functions.

Providing administrative support to the Patient Safety Team, Complaints Team or the Compliance Team.

Acting as the first point of contact for general telephone and written correspondence into the department, prioritising and responding in an appropriate, timely and courteous manner.

Supporting the Team to effectively plan and organise their day-to-day processes.

Providing support to the Manager with data analysis.

Undertaking administrative work in the accurate maintenance of the Trust Monitoring systems.

Requesting case notes and ensuring the provision of storage remains in line with information governance and data protection guidance.

Ensuring appropriate escalation to the manager.

Providing general advice to staff on processes.

Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.
