Distribution Coordinator

**Our Client is looking for Distribution Co-ordinators in Coventry**

**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**

Taking and scheduling of orders to make deliveries in accordance with our service promise.
- Ensure that costs are controlled by using the right type of vehicle for the site access.
- Liaising with external hauliers to improve customer service and deliver a higher NPS value.
- Planning on excel the work schedule for each day, whilst liaising with Plant Supervisors to minimise plant shutdowns.
- Working pro-actively to establish the feasibility of customer requests in coordination with the haulier, dealing with any haulage queries that may arise.
- Management of late loads, including a timely notification of these issues to all relevant parties.
- Receive knowledge to understand other areas of the business to improve potential for further development.

**EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be a good clear communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Previous experience in either a call centre or administration centre would be an advantage.
- Full training will be given to the suitable applicant.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,200.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Warehouse Management: 1 year (preferred)
