Catering Assistant

An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of Support Services staff within the catering department based at Stratheden Hospital.

The hours will be worked 5 days over 7. Example shift times 7.15am to 2.45pm, 8.30am to 4pm, 10am to 5.30pm, 10.30am to 6pm.

Main duties are maintaining a clean safe working environment for the delivery of the catering service, covering duties within the main kitchen as required, some basic food preparation. An up to date Food Hygiene Certificate, and previous experience of working within a large scale catering environment would be an advantage. You should be willing to undertake a flexible working pattern to cover for annual leave / sickness if required. You will be required to work within any of our catering departments around North East Fife.

This post will involve weekend work, for which enhanced rates are paid. Uniform and PPE supplied, access to workplace pension scheme, family friendly policy and generous annual leave entitlement.

Please note the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
