About the Role
Fife Council's Out of School Clubs are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Childcare Practitioners. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and fun environment for children and young people while their parents/carers attend work, training, or further education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise activities to engage children in a wide range of experiences and experiences.
- Set up play spaces that inspire creativity and imagination.
- Encourage independence and support children to explore their interests and develop life-long skills.
- Provide nutritious snacks that cater to dietary and nutritional needs.
- Handle accidents and incidents with a quick and effective response.
- Assist with record keeping to ensure everything is organized and running smoothly.
Requirements
- Experience of working with children and young people within a play, care or learning setting.
- Willingness to work towards the SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or already holds a suitable qualification.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
