Ancestry is the UK and Ireland's largest family history website with over 1 billion UK and Ireland genealogy records available to search. An upcoming project includes the digitisation of collections held by Pembrokeshire Archives. The first stage of this major project will be the digitisation of the original documents. This will take place on site at Pembrokeshire Archives, Prendergast, Haverfordwest SA61 2PE, United Kingdom. This is a fixed-term contract for 9 months.

- You will operate and maintain equipment (training will be given)
- You will quality assure resulting images
- You will carry out minor document prep as required (and permitted by the archive)

**Desirable but not essential**
- Previous experience of similar project work
- General knowledge and appreciation of history/genealogy
- General knowledge of photography

Contract: Temporary (Project expected to last 9 months)

Rate: £11/Hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week excluding meal breaks.

At management discretion and agreement with Pembrokeshire Archives, staff are expected to be flexible with their working patterns. Pembrokeshire Archives is open to staff between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
