**Business Development Manager - Remote Based**

Penguin Recruitment are proud to be partnered with one of the UK's most prestigious IT Resellers, who are leading suppliers of IT Hardware and Software Technology to the public and private sector and have strong links to vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco,HP Microsoft, Citrix, Dell and Toshiba.

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Business Development Manager located in the London/South East region, to join our clients thriving Sales team, giving you the opportunity to work under one of the most reputable names in the market.

We are looking for a real go-getter who has a strong sales track record within the IT sales market, preferably working for an IT Vendor, Reseller or Distributor. You will be a strategic thinker, have a consultative approach with the ability to negotiateeffectively and close business deals.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the charge to new business, as well as nurturing existing business and building new revenue streams with our clients existing Central Government accounts by upselling and cross sellingthe company's wider services.

**Role Requirements**:

- Strong sales experience within the IT sales sector
- Experience working within the public / Central Government sector is desirable
- Full UK driving license
- Experience with CRM systems
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
- Ability to present and close deals face to face
- Track record of effective account management

On offer, is a base salary of £45,000 with the opportunity to earn £85,000 in your first year Alongside this, you will also receive a corporate benefit package and a £6k car allowance.
