Chiltern Connections is a well-established business based in Wallingford, South Oxfordshire which provides conformal coating, distribution and engineering services to a wide-range of industries.

The Production Operator will be based within our busy Production Team helping to check-in and process printed circuit boards (PCBs), programming and operating the Selective Coating machine, and conducting quality checks prior to packing. Previous CNC experience is desirable but training on our selective coater process and programming will be provided. Attention to detail and quality control is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operating a range of machinery including selective coating machine, ovens, washing machines, pallet trucks, and any other equipment required for the role. Full training, health & safety directions, and PPE provided.
- Preparing PCBs for spraying including conducting quality checks before and after processing and maintaining accurate record-keeping for full traceability
- Adhering to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times
- Ensuring that all customer property is carefully handled and paperwork completed accurately
- Complying with all equipment maintenance standards, processes, health and safety regulations, and workplace health and safety rules

Other Duties
- Ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
- Undertake necessary training for your role
- Assisting in other areas of production where deemed necessary by the company

This role requires the following competencies
- Previous CNC experience is desirable as is experience of working in a production environment or with PCBs
- Excellent attention to detail is essential
- An understanding of the importance of quality management systems and health & safety in a production environment
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage your workload effectively
- Willingness to use IT devices (work mobile phones, tablets) and learn new systems
- Hard-working and responsible with a positive, can-do attitude
- Keen to learn, adaptable and committed to continual improvement
