As a Production Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the production process by developing and maintaining production schedules that align with organizational goals as well as part and people availability. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient utilization of resources, timely delivery, and adherence to production timelines. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including engineering, production, procurement, to achieve seamless coordination and workflow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain production schedules based on resource availability and customer demand.
- Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders to establish realistic and achievable production timelines.
- Allocate and optimize resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to meet production targets.
- Identify and address potential bottlenecks or constraints in the production process and propose solutions for improved efficiency.
- Foster effective communication and coordination between different departments to ensure alignment with production schedules.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and suggest enhancements to streamline production workflows and reduce lead times.
- Identify and assess potential risks to production schedules, such as equipment failures, supply chain disruptions, or changes in demand.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and maintain production continuity.
- Maintain accurate plans and records of production schedules, adjustments, and changes.
- Generate regular reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and equipment reliability.

**Required Qualifications**:

- A proactive approach to work coupled with a huge internal drive
- Inherent motivation to deliver the best possible results in any environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production scheduling within a high tech manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and ERP or MES systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other professional data-management tools
