**Position Summary**:
The role of Lab Group Leader provides an exciting opportunity to gain experience of leading a team and working at the external interface with our key analytical providers. The individual will lead the Blending Centre of Excellence team and is responsible for the supervision and development of the BCoE team with clear accountability for safety and quality standard. The position will be responsible for the blending of small-scale packages and oils to support our technology programs as well as customer sampling.

The position includes managing contract and interfacing with third party analytical service providers, promoting high level of quality and services aligned with requirements from technology. The position also requires collaboration with other Infineum technology centres promoting harmonisation of best practices and drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide visible safety leadership to the BCoE team to achieve our priority of “Nobody Gets Hurt”
- Line leadership of BCoE team consisting of one Blending coordinator and 10-12 operators
- Oversee the production process of small-scale laboratory blending and associated activities, safety/quality standard
- Main focal point for technology colleagues and day to day management of third-party analytical service providers, performance management and contract negotiations
- Drive continuous improvements and seek operational efficiencies
