**Company overview**:
Burness Paull is a top tier independent commercial law firm. With offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, we support clients across Scotland acting for private and public sector clients. They have a strong history of supporting a range of apprentices across their offices. A new apprenticeship opportunity has opened in their Aberdeen office, a Facilities Administration Apprentice.

The successful apprentice will be based around our print room/mail room and provide support to everyone within our office. This opportunity will be paired with the Business Administration Modern Apprenticeship SCQF Level 6, delivered by QA Apprenticeships.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Photocopy, bind or scan documents, making sure that these meet any deadlines given. This is usually completed in the office but may, on occasion, need you to organise for work to be completed by an external contractor
- Collect and distribute all incoming and internal mail to each department in the office and process all outgoing mail every day
- Organise couriers as and when required
- Deal with office maintenance issues reporting to facilities manager and communicating/updating personnel
- Arrange for the maintenance and repair of multi-function devices
- Order and maintain stationery supplies, making sure that you always keep enough stock to meet the needs of all staff in the office
- Provide cover for hospitality and reception as required and assisting with moving office furniture as may be required from time to time
- Deliver items once retrieved from storage to internal clients
- Collect items for archiving from internal clients

£19,838 per annum

**Working hours**:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

**Future prospects**:
There are multiple routes for internal progression which will be considered at an appropriate time with your line manager; routes could include moving into the Office or Central Administration teams, Trainee PA or Legal PA

**Important information**:
Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager. They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
