Due to our continued growth we have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic Apprentice HR Administrator to join the HR team. You will predominantly provide administrative support services within the HR department, ultimately supporting operational aspects of the business. We are ideally looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of tasks, who is highly organised, diligent and can demonstrate great attention to detail. **Responsibilities**
- Support the HR department in all administration activities.
- Ensure the maintenance of employee records, ensuring complete accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with GDPR.
- Assist with probation process admin.
- Assist with the preparation of employment contracts, changes to employment terms and conditions letters, ensuring they are accurate and issued in a timely manner.
- Administer relevant HR databases
- Assist in the production and issue of letters as required.
- HR Projects.
- Support the HR Team with absence management procedures.
- Minute taking in formal meetings.
- Responding to day-to-day queries in a timely manner.
- Any other task deemed appropriate by Line Manager/ Senior Management.
**Person Specification**
- An interest in developing a career in HR
- Ability to deal with confidential information and maintain confidentiality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels
- Ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment, with strong issue identification skills, as well as organisational and analytical skills
- A high level of motivation and self-direction, as well as professional integrity
- A minimum of a National 5 at Grade C in English and Maths
**Apprenticeship**
You’ll be working towards completion of Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration. Our Apprenticeship scheme provides a perfect way to earn a salary while you gain vital work experience and a nationally recognised qualification. You will be fully supported and mentored through your apprenticeship and work with a team to support you along the way
