Support Worker-full Time- Forensic Care

**We are hiring Support Workers for our clients Supported Living services.**
This role will require you to provide person-centred support to empower adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. These individuals may display behaviours that challenge and have complex needs. You will support them to live a fulfilled and independent life back into the community.
Experience is advantageous but not a necessity as we are looking for someone with the right attitude and a passion for care.
You will receive training around forensic risk and Physical Intervention. You will have regular supervision meetings with your team leader to support your developing.
This role requires alternative weekends.
**What you will you do**:
- Support individuals with complex needs and histories in a sensitive/person centred way to integrate people back into the community to live a fulfilled life.
- Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to individuals with complex needs and various mental health diagnosis.
- Play an integral role in the team and contribute to updating the Support plans.
- Work as part of a team in a challenging but rewarding environment.
- Document and maintain accurate records of support provided.
- Supporting individuals to get involved in different activities in and around their local areas, in line with their hobbies and interests.
- Empowering people to gain life skills; Maintaining their own home, shopping, cooking, cleaning, managing their own finances and other aspects of their life.
