Sign Maker / Installer

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Sign Maker in Ilford.

1 Stop Signs is seeking a talented and hardworking Sign Maker to join their team. This team values teamwork and provides a rewarding environment where you can enhance your career.

You will be given the opportunity to work with the latest and greatest industry machines, including Océ Arizona Flatbed, HP Latex, Lazer Roland, and Vinyl Plotters.

Key requirements:

- Knowledge in sign making techniques and installing.
- Proficiency in machine printing and plotting.
- Experience in vinyl production, print finishing, and manufacturing.
- Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively in a team, and independently when needed.
- Skilled in reading job sheets, following instructions and taking proactive initiatives.
- General knowledge of design and print software.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and light machinery.
- Ability to adapt quickly and think on your feet.
- Conducting quality checks on finished work.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Clean UK driving licence
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Sign making and production, including weeding and laminating.
- Sign fitting and event installing.
- Fabricating of signage, including LED manufacturing and soldering.
- Print and plotter machine running, cleaning and maintaining.

Our benefits:

- We are offering a competitive salary up to £30,000.00 per year plus overtime and bonuses.
- 28 days of annual leave.

**Salary**: £8.58-£18.84 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
